The Milk Development Council needed to demonstrate the benefits of its national School Milk Project to wary farmers who help subsidise the scheme.
One of betterpr’s remits was to engage farmers in regular communication that didn’t appear expensive and extravagant. To achieve this, we launched ‘Milking It!', a feature-led magazine which proved so popular, it is now published as a quarterly supplement by the Milk Development Council. |

betterpr also created a life-size Charlotte Cow mascot to excite interest in school milk at events UK-wide. There are now six Charlottes and having been spotted by the BBC, she even had her own weathergirl slot alongside Olympic athlete Steve Cram.
