betterpr has identified its use of energy, transport and paper as areas where it can make a difference, albeit a minor one. Waste generation and use of water are negligible.

In support of our commitments:

Use of heating and lighting is limited to core daytime activities
We only use diesel fuelled company cars
All newspapers, waste paper and cardboard is recycled
Toner cartridges are recycled
We only use local suppliers so that any necessary delivery distances are minimised.

To make good on more than our current limited impact in 2006, and to act responsibly on behalf of our clients, we have donated £62.46 to Climate Care to offset 8.33 tonnes of carbon emission from our small-scale use of electricity and gas, and in response to business mileage.

We have also donated £50.00 to The Woodland Trust to plant 10 trees at Danson's Wood, Whitchurch, Shropshire.

We will ensure that our current practices are adopted by new employees and extended to any and all other areas which have impact on the environment.

Our impact will be reviewed annually to ensure that we can continue to minimise the effect of our business activities. Appropriate contributions to Climate Care and The Woodland Trust will continue.
